Strive towards achieving priority actions of Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA)
Collaborate and work with Disaster Management Authorities (DMAs) at various levels for policy advocacy and implementation
Start DRR initiatives with school children and teachers and to do advocacy for integrating the DRR principles in education system and focusing on child led DRR.
Formation of Disaster Management Committees (DMCs) at local level and to provide pre-positioning stocks and tools to DMCs.
Conduct Hazard and Risk Mapping with DMCs through Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment (VCA)/ PRA tools and design management plans.
Mainstreaming DRR in all sectors and interventions as well as to initiate stand alone DRR interventions for creating resilient societies.
Develop and disseminate IEC material r for awareness raising on DRR.
Providing immediate relief to affected communities specially women and children (NFIs, Food, WASH and shelter).
Supporting in early recovery initiatives through Cash for Work (CFW) and other Community Livelihoods Rehabilitation Plans (CLRPs).
Capacity building on Disaster Preparedness and Response and training on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
Provide appropriate shelter, health and educational infrastructure i.e house/shelter, BHUs, RHCs and school construction
