Wash - What we Do - PRDP
- Water supply: Provision of clean drinking water through construction of water supply schemes, water purification, treatment and;
- Sanitation: provision of sanitation infrastructure including latrines (both shorter term and long term), drainage, street payments and urban sanitation including solid waste management environmental sanitation.
- Hygiene Education: community mobilization for practicing safe hygiene practices, formation of WASH committees, developing of context specific IEC material, providing training to women and children, designing of manuals. Use of both short term approaches for emergency response as well as long term development approach of CLTS and SLTS.
- School WASH is also an integral part of PRDP’s WASH interventions.
Wash
